Cancer Association Namibia (CAN)

• It is with great sadness that we said farewell to our friend Mina van Wyk.
• Our prayers go out to Tina Jonker and Hendrik van Zyl.  You are in our thoughts and your strength shines through.

On a lighter note, there is a fondue coming up on the 4^th April.  The venue will be the German Club Hall.  Price is $60 per person.  Should you be interested please contact Elize on 204252 or Gary on 238 218 for more information.

There will be a Jumping Castle at the Crayfish Derby on the 23^rd April and a table that will sell new shoes and second hand clothing to the public.  Please support us.

The Apples sold on the Cancer Apple Project will be here between the 22^nd and 24^th April.

The following people and institutions are thanked for their generous donations and assistance.

R Nampost is thanked for transporting a heavy load from Windhoek for us.  The tables, Kimbies, and food supplements.

R All those who took part in the Shave-a-thon are thanked as we made $6402 on the day.  Shine on!

R The Waterfront is thanked for the standing place and the electricity for the day.

R The team that assisted are thanked – Lukas Els, Desmond Visagie, Edith Solomon, Jenny and Nicky Enten, Sanie du Toit, Malinda Walker and Elize du Toit.

Once again thank you for your time and donations as they mean a lot to someone who is suffering and in pain.  It is the small things that you do that make their lives a lot easier and bearable.  God Bless you all.
