BLAME IT ON THE BOOGIE

If you had happened to have walked past The Nest Hotel on Friday the 11th of September you might have thought there was an Oscars in town; what with the red carpet, glamorous dresses,

smart suits and camera flashes. In fact, it was the Matric’ Ball for Lüderitz Secondary School where the students were having a well deserved celebration of the end of the school year. The theme for this year’s event was “Michael Jackson”, which was evident in the décor and many students sported one white glove in memory of the singer. The ballroom was decorated beautifully in blues, silvers and whites. Dinner by candlelight and disco balls set the mood for a very special evening which, by the sounds of things, was enjoyed by all.
