World AIDS Day Awareness Week

There is a World AIDS Day Awareness Week being held in Lüderitz from the 1st to the 5th of December. It is organised by the Youth Centre in Luderitz. Lots of activities are taking place everyday and here is a timetable of some of the highlights:

Making a contribution to the orphans and vulnerable children of Luderitz this month, was the Church Alliance for Orphans. They handed over food during a presentation, the goods included jam, juice, rice, toothpaste, soup, roll-on, tea, coffee, cooking oil, macaroni, Vaseline, salt, sugar, top score, bread flour, sunlight soap and blankets.
