Teenagers Under Lock And Key

On Friday the 23rd of October there was a lock in at the Youth Centre, for young males from Luderitz. It was run by four American Peace Corp volunteers, and funded by Luderitz Secondary School. There were about 30 boys there, who took part in various organised activities such as video gaming, a HIV discussion, a scavenger hunt, organised by one of the attendees and movie watching. Food was provided for everyone, which was cooked by the volunteers on the night, and was enjoyed by all! The night started at 5pm and everyone stayed up all night, and left again at 9am, Saturday morning. They all seemed to have had a very good night, even though they did look worse for wear on Saturday! •
