Eat Carrots, Fill Buckets

During recent months there have been numerous water cuts and a few power cuts which have angered a few people in the town. The water cuts began because of burst pipes during the con-struction of the railway, and then a pipe under the lagoon has been undergoing mainte¬nance.
The reason for the power cuts is still unclear, as the council has been unable to comment on this at present. We have to keep in mind that most of the time these cuts have little to do with the council, as they are unexpected, and just be thankful that the problems are fixed fairly quickly.•
