Phase Two Begins

Progression has started already with phase 2 of the waterfront development. Work has started on the old power station on Diaz Street, where workers have started clearing away the rubble and the junk from the inside. The cleanup is expected to take about three months, and once that has been completed a full scale refurbishment of the inside can begin which will involve fit¬ting new floors and such like. To make the building more aesthetically pleasing in the mean time, the outside will be painted and new windows will be fitted. It is gratifying that the work has started so quickly, a definite promising start to the new develop¬ments.•
