CAFO Donation

On the 17th of March, CAFO Luderitz made another generous donation to the Orphans and Vulnerable Children of Luderitz.
They donated a cheque of N$20468.00 to Luderitz Senior Secondary School to pay the OVCs’ school development funds and exam fees.
At the Handing Over Ceremony, Rev. J.A. Scholtz (Chairperson of CAFO, Luderitz) emphasized that the organization is dedicated to the development and sustainability of support programs for orphans and other vulnerable children.
He explained that their goal is to see that all children in Namibia and specifically in Luderitz, reach their potential. CAFO looks upon their organisation as a, “Mission to build capacity and provide financial support for the education of orphans and vulnerable children”.
Pastor Hangue, the Project Leader, also encouraged the children present to study hard because the CAFO members have, “Done their part by paying for their exam fees and school development funds in full”.
She stated that the ball is now in their court and there are no excuses for underachieving anymore.
In the coming weeks there will be more handing over of foodstuffs and school uniforms to other OVCs throughout the town.
CAFO, Luderitz would like to extend their thanks to the CAFO Head Office that strengthens them by making all these things possible. •
