High Jinks on the High Seas

Many local children and adults attended the annual ‘Anything that floats’ competition organised by and held at the Yacht Club on Saturday, 27th March. Five teams entered in the children’s division, which Zarah Mitchell and Karina Zavitaev won by paddling on strapped together surf boards. Three teams took part in the adult races, which were slightly different to the children’s, the teams had to down beers before paddling to the buoy, and the adults were also much more ‘tactical’! Food was also available at the Yacht club which staff and parents from Brightstart Montessori prepared and sold, the proceeds from the food went towards the school.
