Lucky Congregation Keep On Receiving

The Evangelical Baptist Church in Benguela is currently hosting and partaking in lots of activities. A youth worker visited the church from the 19th-21st March to work with the OVCs and the Evangelical Baptist Church from Monte Cristo, Windhoek visited in February.
Pastor Tony would like to extend the invitation to anyone who is interested in helping or assisting with OVCs to contact him or the church. There is also leadership and discipleship training being conducted on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for all youth, not just OVCs, which started on the 5th May.
This training will continue until December and everyone is welcome. As well as providing assistance for orphans and vulnerable children, the church also donates clothes to caregivers in the ECVC programme.
At the end of April the Luderitz branch of CAFO donated N$20468 to Luderitz Secondary School to pay for OVCs school development and exam fees. As well as this, food packages were distributed to 191 orphans in the town. Clothing is also donated regularly to OVCs and their caregivers who cannot afford to provide for themselves.•
