Public Murder

In the early hours of Saturday May 2nd Tangeni Alfeus was murdered at Simon’s Pub. The murder weapon is an unknown sharp object.
The 18 year old Luderitz resident was stabbed in the shoulder and throat; he died in hospital on the same day. The murder occurred around 3-4am at the pub. There was a large crowd on the street after the incident, and lots of confusion. Two suspects have been arrested, a 25 year old man and a 30 year old man, who appeared in court on the 3rd May where they were refused bail.
The men will appear in court again on the 9th June. The motive for the murder is still unclear but apparently one of the suspects had already had a fight with someone else, not the deceased, prior to the murder.•
