The mission of CAFO is to build capacity and provide limited technical administrative and financial support to OVCs and otherfaith-based organizations that are committed to care and support of the orphans and vulnerable children in the community. According toRev. J.A. Scholtz (chairperson of the Luderitz CAFO committee), “the Luderitz Committee is a branch of CAFO head office and the goal is to ee all children in Namibia fulfil their God given potential and thus it is our mission to build capacity and to support for the
education of orphans and vulnerable children.†He also mentioned that the budget is divided in the fields of education, psychosocial support, shelter and care, economic strengthening, food and nutrition, health, and children protection, and hence there will be more activities in the next quarter. CAFO provides the OVCs with the
necessary life and school materials/equipments. It is now the learners’ responsibility to strive through their studies and succeed.•
