NaTIS Branch for Luderitz Residents

A new building has been completed and is now in use for Namibia Traffic Information System (NaTIS). The large multi-purpose premises is situated on the road out of town. It will provide a place to register and license motor vehicles, put motor vehicles through roadworthiness testing, issue driving and learner’s licenses, test eye vision for drivers and learners, issue PA (Professional authorisation) for drivers that need to transport passengers, goods and dangerous goods and issue of temporary and special permits.
The building is being funded by the road authority itself even though the manpower and management is overseen by Lüderitz Town Council.
Every time a client/customer has to go to NaTIS they must bring his/her identification document (Namibian id, valid driver’s license or traffic register number).
The operating hours for NaTIS are 07h30 – 12h30 and 13h30 – 16h30.
