Letter from the Editors

Hello fellow Buchters! This is the last edition of 2010 and it’s nearing the time when we each look back on what has happened this year and start looking forward to the next! Where has this year disappeared to? We will be leaving Luderitz at the start of December to go travelling around Nnamibia so we hope you don’t miss us too much and we’ll be back in time to bring you February’s edition.

This November, Luderitz has been jam packed with many exciting events that you can read about in this month’s edition of The Buchter Nnews. It’s almost Christmas and to kick start the festive season, Brightstart School put on two wonderful nativity plays. We take a look at how the pre-primary one went so if you didn’t attend you can still get a feel of how well all the children did. Also, the outrage caused by the flu that has hit Luderitz has been huge and we give you all the facts behind what is really happening.

We also want to say a big thanks to everyone who has made us feel so at home here after only two months. We never thought we would feel like part of the community as much as we do now and it’s all down to you guys. So thank you – you know who you are.
