BRIGHTSTART FUNWALK

The 12th March was a fun packed day for Bright start Montessori school. Teachers, parents, and students from pre-primary to Upper Elementary took part in a fundraising fun walk to Diaz point.

For the Pre-Primary the walk began at Essy Bay and followed a 10km route to Diaz point. For the Elementary side the walk was 15 km and started at Grossebucht. Many students even ran the route, arriving in competitive times. Well done to Liam Mitchells for completing the run in first place. Checkpoints and refreshments along the way encouraged the walkers and a picnic was enjoyed at the finish line. Thanks should go to the organisers and congratulations to all who took part, the day was a great success and enjoyed by all involved. •
