A HELPING HAND GOES A LONG WAY

The Catholic Aids association and the ECVC came together on 1st April to offer goods to a select number of Luderitz OVC’s.
The Regional Councillors Office was occupied by 15 of the most in need children of Luderitz on this day and every one of them had a smile on their face. The ECVC and CAA managed to get generous offers from local businesses to enable this to happen and they had an added bonus of true happiness that day.
One by one the OVC’s were given a donation of oil, pasta and flour, the basic necessities that all children need to have a nourishing and fulfilling diet. These gifts can last anything from days to weeks to months depending on the way the guardians of these vulnerable children use them. In all cases however it is hoped that it will make a difference to their lives in any way possible for as long as possible.
