RULING JUSTLY

John Locke (1632-1704) taught that “People give up certain of their rights in return for just rule.”
A Political or Christian leader or even a family leader would be willing to lose some of their rights for the interest of those whom they are leading. Locke also said that leaders “Derived their power only from the consent of the people.” His teaching is clearly seen in the life of Jesus on Earth and because of his love of leading us to everlasting life, He did not only leave his glory in heaven and came on Earth, He also died in our place.
Jesus willingly gave up his rights for his people’s sake, can you see how? This is what leaders are called to do.
