DONATIONS BRING SMILES

On the 30th of September, it was a positive day for some of the community from the area’s Amilema and Nautilus. At the Regional Council blankets were handed over to specially selected people. The blankets were from Pep Store and kindly donated by Coastways Tours represented by Lewis Druker. Mr. Scholtz talked about the need of our people and the fact that we cannot ignore the small things in the community but that we do our utmost best to do what we can. If you want to improve something, you have to start with the small things in life before you deal with the larger problems. Helping people with food, water and blankets is a great start. The people were really happy with the blankets. After the meeting had been concluded the people from Amilema and Nautilus took away two things, a warm blanket in hand and secondly a more than grateful smile on their faces. We are sure that those people will be tucked up for the next while, but there are still a lot more people who need help.
