Nappa in Luderitz

A presentation by NAPPA, Namibia Planned Parenthood Association was given in the old German Hostel on Monday the 10th of October. It gave a lot of information to children of High School age.

NAPPA assists people to access sexual and reproductive health services. They do educational programs with young people in and out of school and young people living with HIV/AIDS. It was a good presentation for our High School children, covering different aspects of violence. They talked about physical, emotional and sexual violence.

Rape was a big issue and the presenter discussed with the children what to do if raped. They also talked about teenage pregnancy, a big issue all over the world. The slogan is: It is ok to say no. Don’t do things if you don’t want to.
