TAKE OFF AT LUDERITZ AIRPORT

Since the first of October, Air Nambia has re-introduced flights to Luderitz and Oranjemund. Air Namibia previously had been inactive for 12 months, however to our delight it is now back in business.
On the first of October, there was a grand opening at Luderitz Airport. The airport had undertaken a squeaky clean up and tidy area, giving their passengers the best services and attending to their needs. As the wheels touched down on the run way, excitement and cheers were amongst the people. Champagne, balloons and a Nest Hotel flag were all standing in front of the gate to give the first passengers a warm welcome. It was all sponsored by the Nest Hotel and everyone was ecstatic to see that Air Namibia was flying again.
Air Namibia will offer three flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The routing will be in a triangular format of Windhoek, Luderitz, Oranjemund and Windhoek. Let’s enjoy the fact that Air Namibia flies again.
